About this role

BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. seeks Vice President, Systematic Fixed Income Group, Alpha Portfolio Management-US in San Francisco, CA, responsible for the daily coordination of the quantitative investment process, including running of models, validating output, raising orders, liaising with traders and other stakeholders, responding to market events, and reviewing and documenting portfolio performance. Req’s: Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing analysis of financial data. In the alternative, the employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of the above fields and 5 years of experience in the above listed skills. 2 years of experience must include: developing, testing and implementing long-only and market-neutral investment strategies in fixed income markets; researching fixed income and equities within an investment team of a financial firm; coding in Python using the pandas package; cleaning and analyzing datasets using Matlab, R, and Python; and utilizing SQL, object-oriented programming, and Unix.
