We are looking for a strong self-starter to join our team as the Digital Content Manager for iShares.com US, our most highly visited site. You would be responsible for championing user experience and specifically for building out an exceptional content experience.
Armed with a deep understanding of our site visitors and their needs, you will be responsible for setting and upholding the content strategy and best practice and overseeing the content production process.
To achieve this, you will work with a small content team (including editor, designer and publishers), and partner with content creators across the organization. You’ll be exceptional at building strong relationships and will establish yourself as a thought leader.
In the pursuit to elevate the brand by building out an exceptional content experience for iShares.com/US, you will you will look to:
Bring our brand identity to life through its distinctive tone of voice
Make data informed improvements to help people discover our content via search engines in a way that can be consumed across all device types quickly and easily
Seek out innovative ways to connect iShares.com content to our products and support investors in the investment journey
You will be the conﬁdent, objective voice of our users by relentlessly pursuing the advocacy of investor progress in producing world class quality content experiences throughout iShares.com.
Content strategy: You will be responsible for development, maintenance and execution of the digital content strategy
Continuous improvement: You will own how content design engages with user research & data analysis to ensure our approach is evidence based, continually optimised, user centred and drives our experience decisions.
Best practice: You will set & evangelize best practice standards for content creation, and will optimise experiences for SEO, accessibility, page speed performance & brand guidelines
Stakeholder engagement: You will lead collaboration with content creators across the business to define and agree on brief & plan for page builds
Execution & delivery: You will lead the content production process for iShares.com, including the prioritisation of the editorial calendar.
Thought leadership: You will lead monthly forums to source high value content
Personalisation: You will configure cross site and in page personalisation using the available content library.
Feature development: You will work closely with the product management and development teams to ensure that future content needs are met in the development backlog.
Essential skills / experience
Passion for digital and digital marketing
Experience in producing content frameworks for the web
Strong brand knowledge and understanding of representing the brand through content writing
Results-oriented and interested in data and analytics. Experience on Adobe Analytics would be a plus
Experience in project management, able to drive forward key initiatives and lead cross functional teams
Strong team leadership skills particularly leading through change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that is clear, compelling and concise.
Collaborative with a positive, can-do attitude, adaptable and not above any task
Interest or experience in finance
