BlackRock is seeking a Client Services & Support representative to become part of our US Wealth Advisory team. As a Sales Support Analyst you will be effective at representing BLK market views, handling questions, servicing client requests, and driving sales in a wide range of BLK products, across all channels and asset classes.

The U.S. Wealth Advisory team is responsible for distribution, marketing, and product management for BlackRock’s products, including alternative investments, open-end funds, closed-end funds, managed accounts, and ETF’s. The team has roughly 200 colleagues between Boston, Princeton, and San Francisco markets. Come join our team and experience what it feels like to be part of an organization that makes a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from Wire houses, Independent and other financial firms, functioning as a liaison between the Financial Advisors (FAs) and our regional sales team both internally and externally.

  • Play an instrumental role in coordinated territory coverage with regional sales team, by regularly discussing territory-related matters involving products, special marketing efforts, and problem resolution.

  • Proactively build relationships with targeted advisors to drive sales in BlackRock products during specific campaigns.

  • Follow-up with Financial Advisors and regional sales team with updates.

  • Maintain and develop knowledge of BlackRock products, marketing sales strategies, systems and applications to fully enhance the client experience.

  • Prepare sales/marketing proposals for Financial Advisors and/or sales team.

  • Research and resolve all Separately Managed Account issues like Fee Calculations/Issues, Billing Inquires, and PC Issues.

  • Multitask and work under tight time constraints.

R equirements:

  • Will be expected to obtain the SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 within a period of time following employment

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required, with preference to business disciplines such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics

  • High sales acumen and the desire/ability to generate sales opportunities. Must be confident, persuasive, and credible over the phone and in person.

  • Experience as a Financial Advisor a strong plus

  • Understanding and/or ability to learn various investment types – including fixed income, derivatives, alternatives, equities, etc.

  • Outstanding relationship management skills to build and maintain collaborative partnerships

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and influencing skills to engage partners and communicate complex information in simplistic terms

  • Professional level of written and verbal communication skills required to prepare and present sales plans and materials, provide information regarding products and services, and develop sales presentations.
