About this role

About BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory Business

The Financial Markets Advisory business delivers a range of advisory services including capital markets, sustainability, portfolio construction and data & analytics solutions to official sector and financial institution clients globally, including banks and insurance companies. We support our clients on their most critical and complex financial issues – from unwinding complex portfolios of assets to managing the low carbon transition of the financial sector, to crafting and executing bond purchase programs to support the economy.

We leverage the firm’s sophisticated sustainability, capital markets, data & analytics and technology capabilities to deliver impact-oriented advisory services, while maintaining an information barrier from the rest of the firm.

To deliver the most effective team for any client situation, we assign professionals based on their expertise and can deploy from multiple offices.

We are looking to recruit a Vice President level professional in London with sustainability and capital markets expertise to support FMA clients and their objectives.

  • Participate in internal and client meetings, presentations, and pitches and demonstrate ability to synthesize complex financial markets and analytics topics to internal and external audiences

  • Support junior team members by being an effective and empathetic engagement manager, and providing technical insights and knowledge

  • Stay abreast of relevant market trends and understand client and business contexts which drive client opportunities and challenges
