We are seeking an adventurous individual to join the SL Engineering Team within Global Securities Lending; one of the world’s top Lending Agents.

• Developing in Java, React, Kafka, Cassandra, Python and others

• Writing testable software every day, with a focus on rapid, incremental innovation

Responsibilities

• Coding : Primary focus on actively coding and designing for our next-generation high-velocity, scalable trading, electronic trading, and analytics platforms.

• Team collaboration : collaborate with team members across multiple offices globally, including Gurgaon, Budapest, London, New York, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.

• Mentoring : Mentor team members to enhance their skills in architecture, standards development, and best practices.

• Enhancement, debugging, support, maintenance, and testing : Enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications that support the business.

Skills And Experience

• Strong programming skills with 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot

• Experience on Web service and API protocols (REST)

• 3-6 years of experience in programming in React, TypeScript

• Working knowledge of SQL

• Commitment to write high-quality code

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

• Experience with Agile development methodology

• Familiar with continuous integration and continuous delivery automation for containerized services

• Bachelors or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline

• Strong interest in learning finance

Nice to have and opportunities to learn

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure solutions

• Experience in k8s, Azure, Microservices, Spring Cloud

• Understanding of Microservices design patterns

• Experience in Redis, Kafka, OAuth2, NoSQL (Cassandra), Snowflake

• Working financial knowledge and/or previous experience in a financial company
