Job Description:

Job Purpose:

As an Analyst within BlackRock’s Global Total Rewards Operations function, the position will work with a team of HR professionals in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. The role will be responsible for providing support for the delivery of financial and personal wellness benefits programs as well as work/life initiatives.

In addition this role will liaise with other team members, as needed, within the Global Total Rewards Operations with all aspects of total rewards (compensation, benefits and talent mobility) operations. There will be growth and learning opportunities within other areas of total rewards and broader HR operations.

Key responsibilities include:

This role will focus on providing support to the Rewards team in the delivery of benefits programs.

Provide operational support for the delivery of BlackRock’s global benefits programs (financial and personal wellness and work/life initiatives)

Liaise with other HR stakeholders and teams to get complex employee queries resolved

Actively support benefits contract renewals in partnership with vendor management and Global Benefits teams

Invoice processing for all vendors including tracking of payments and outstanding invoices

Analytics support for creating and reviewing monthly exception reports

Undertake detailed review of monthly exception reports and resolve with the relevant stakeholders

Provide operational support to complete market surveys and benchmarking within assigned timeframes

Periodic reconciliations of benefits funding, headcount & corporate deposits

Providing payroll inputs to the payroll team based on reconciliations

Build deep understanding of the global benefits and be able to act as competent back –up for other team members

Conduct periodic audits of the processes and build proper controls to mitigate risk

Vendor management and addressing ongoing operational queries with vendors

Constantly identify & drive process improvement and standardisation opportunities

Additional Responsibilities

Provide project based support on other initiatives such as vendor optimization, HR Operational Excellence and intranet updates

Provide peer review support and back up for other team members

Develop and maintain process documentation

Provide support on ad hoc projects

Knowledge/ Experience required:

3-5 years of relevant experience in global benefits programs and operations

Must be open to work early/ late shifts

Broad knowledge of HR concepts, processes and their inter dependencies

Financial services and/or investment banking industry experience is preferable

Experience with a captive centre is highly desirable

Capable of grasping new concepts quickly and utilizing it in a productive manner

Microsoft Office (essential) and WorkDay (preferred)

Skills/ Qualifications:

MBA (HR) preferred

Strong Microsoft office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Advanced Excel proficiency (e.g. complex formulas – if statements, vlookup, countifs, conditional formatting, etc. for data manipulation and reporting),

Ability to support and collaborate with a remote team

Desire and ability to provide outstanding service to internal clients

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Ability to identify, analyse and develop improvements to processes and/or procedures

Discretion in dealing with confidential information
