Business Unit Overview:

iShares & Wealth (iSW) is a key client business within BlackRock in EMEA, responsible for the strategy and distribution of the breadth and depth of BlackRock’s platform and products. The iSW team is dedicated to representing our Index, Active and Private Markets capabilities to EMEA clients across our key client types.

The iSW Partnership team is responsible to oversee and govern the business most strategic client relationships. In doing so the team works closely with our local sales teams as well as with our internal partners across product, marketing and tech to ensure a superior client experience.

Job Purpose/Background:

We are seeking a self-motivated strong performer to join the iSW EMEA partnership team, working closely with stakeholders in the business and in the COO team to drive increased commercial impact of our EMEA partnership program.

The iSW Partnership team partners closely with sales leadership and key partner functions to drive commercial impact and a superior client experience for our partnership clients. It is responsible to drive innovation and has the unique capacity to offer the full breadth of the BlackRock platform to its partner clients. This position will give you broad exposure and will afford the chance to learn about the financial industry across the BlackRock platform, with significant growth potential and scope to make an impact.

The iSW Partnership team has an international outlook, with members based in different European countries, boasting connectivity with colleagues across the continent on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and coordinate the risk and approval process to assess new partnership opportunities

  • Drive the the agenda & organisation of the EMEA Partnership Committee.

  • Drive quarterly sales reporting across flows, pipeline & engagements, informing senior stakeholders on the progress of our most strategic client relationships & highlighting actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

  • in collaboration with partners in COO and Finance, build and maintain a large dataset and to regularly and systematically benchmark Partnership against pre-set KPIs.

  • Collaborate with sales to help support the partnership pre-defined engagement schedule.

  • Collaborate with legal teams to maintain a database on key partnership terms and conditions.

  • Work in a small, focused team with extensive day-to-day contact with senior business leaders and stakeholders across BlackRock.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ relevant work experience, ideally in asset management, investing / private equity, consulting, or investment banking.

  • Passionate about excellence with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Ability to deliver in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands.

  • High degree of interpersonal effectiveness to establish credibility with stakeholders of varied seniority.

  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Business reporting experience incl. technical skills (Tableau) preferred or willingness to learn.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Intellectually curious with the ability to take initiative and deliver results.

  • Ambitious and proactive: able to show initiative and come up with ideas without prompting.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
